Our Goal
Enabling orphans, widows and the elderly by providing care, support & protection through shelter, food, education and skilling them.
A decade of presence, hope, and dignity for orphans, widows and the elderly across Uganda.
Happy Days for the Needy Foundation was born out of a deeply personal conviction: no child should sleep hungry, no widow should grieve alone, and no elder should be forgotten by their community. What began as a small group of friends collecting supplies for a single rural village has grown into a registered Ugandan NGO touching lives across the country.
Today we partner with churches, schools, local councils, and international donors to deliver dignified care — but our heart remains the same: to walk alongside the most vulnerable with practical compassion and long-term hope.
We measure success not in headlines, but in the quiet moments when a child puts on a clean uniform for the first day of school, when a widow earns her first wage from a new skill, when an elder is celebrated rather than overlooked.

Over 1,200 lives directly supported, 45 communities reached, and a growing network of international partners walking with us.
A passionate, locally-rooted team of staff and volunteers united by a single calling — bringing happiness to those in need.
